Breathedge 2 has 39 Steam achievements, rechecked October 19, 2026. For commonly unclear unlocks, Fighter uses the granny's arm on the bus, Gladiator starts with the visitor's mattress, Hunting Instinct requires 10 mole pulls, and Oxyworm Collector requires 300 pickups. Use the action table below to plan those attempts, then group the remaining location tasks by region.

All 39 current achievement names

The current list is: Safe content, Attendant, Gotta do it, Emergency brake, Shipbuilder, Consistency, Traditional Values, Hoodlum, Public enemy no. 1, Curious, What Did You Expect?, Conehead, Hacker, System Administrator, Gladiator, Go down in history, Biometrics, Déjà vu, Fighter, Slave to the Stomach, People person, Leader, Weird toilet, Medalist, Now That's a Snowman!, Click-click, Prankster, Bum rival, Ladies' man, Jacked, Alphabet, Honorary vandal, Visitor, Patient, Hehehehehe, Hunting Instinct, Gangsta, Oxyworm Collector, and Happy whatever! Steam displays rarity separately and those percentages change as more players unlock them.

The names above are the English Steam identifiers. The table below gives explicit solutions for unclear interactions and counters; the focused Hacker, snowman, and Alphabet pages cover their longer routes.

Side-quest achievements

The Attendant achievement unlocks when you return the body, head, and arm to the damaged attendant near the starting station. The same completion grants Physical Protection +2, making it a valuable early objective. Use the Attendant parts guide if the small arm is hiding beside the bridge.

Other optional tasks are discovered through damaged machinery, NPCs, environmental objects, and landmarks. Complete the station-side antenna while learning the opening area, then revisit unusual structures when your oxygen capacity and tools improve. The side quest hub lists confirmed local objectives without revealing the later story chain.

Hacker achievement

At the Outskirts train, find the red side door with a keypad labeled CAB DOOR and enter 0861. The number appears painted on the train's nose near the CITY OF LABOR VALOR markings. Code 0613 from a note is a deliberate red herring, and failed entries do not create a lockout.

Opening the cabin unlocks Hacker and awards a maximum-health bonus. The room also contains useful loot and a Brewcopter collectible. See the Hacker walkthrough for exact orientation and troubleshooting.

Now That's a Snowman!

Restore the area's ambient warmth, then follow the yellow pipes below the station to the gas-lamp area. Repair the lamp, allow the nearby ice to melt, collect the exposed snowman parts, and assemble them at the interaction point. The achievement should register after the completed build.

If the parts remain frozen, the temperature or lamp prerequisite is incomplete. Do not search farther away; the useful pieces are near the melted site. The dedicated snowman guide keeps the route compact.

Alphabet and the Taxi sign

Alphabet is a Taxi-sign collection activity, not a code to enter at the train. Hotfix 0.8.7 explains that its letters are intentionally scattered near the sign instead of appearing in the demo's single pickup location. Use the Alphabet achievement guide for a local search method that follows the sign and live prompts rather than an outdated screenshot.

Keep the related task active, place each confirmed letter as you find it, and wait for the state to update. This is a better way to track progress than trying to memorize a launch-week letter order. If the sign never shows an interaction, check the current objective before expanding the search radius.

Exploration and interaction achievements

Names such as Weird toilet, Click-click, Prankster, Honorary vandal, and Hehehehehe signal that unusual props are worth inspecting. Approach toilets, signs, statues, training objects, machinery, and conspicuous joke setups with spare oxygen. Interact methodically rather than attacking everything, because the required action may use a specific tool or sequence.

Build a return route before experimenting. An achievement attempt is optional and should not risk quest materials collected on the same trip. Store valuable items, carry the likely tool, and make one controlled attempt per journey.

Check patch-sensitive interactions before retrying

Several achievements depend on objects that also appeared in launch-week patch notes. Hotfix 0.8.7 changed Attendant part handling and clarified that Taxi letters are scattered near the sign. Hotfix 0.8.8 changed the PornHubble grate to the Cutter, which matters when reaching cache-related interactions. Hotfix 0.8.9 fixed a dummy placed in a locker not being counted and a missing marker after the Station Chief sequence.

Patch 0.8.10 makes only one carrot-or-cigarette nose count for the snowman, fixes Taxi-letter placement in Latin American Spanish, and changes mud-statue guidance. It also fixes mole respawning, but does not publish a new Hunting Instinct target count. Use the 0.8.10 checklist for the exact interaction before repeating an achievement run.

Patch 0.8.11 restores police-robot respawning. Recheck previously cleared police routes when pursuing Gangsta, and keep an escape path ready. The announcement gives no respawn timer. Its recycler-during-sleep fix also means processing progress can behave differently from older runs; verify the machine after sleeping instead of using elapsed real time as an achievement counter.

Fighter, Gladiator, and the longer counters

AchievementAction that advances itTarget or completion checkReported bonus
FighterPull the granny's arm at the bus windowContinue the interaction until the arm comes awayCold Protection +5
GladiatorPull the mattress from the visitor who appears in the train, then complete the fightKeep the nose indicator in its green zoneMaximum health +10
Hunting InstinctPull moles from alkaline deposits using Sui's hand10 pullsCarry weight +10
Oxyworm CollectorPick up Oxyworms during exploration300 cumulative pickupsMaximum oxygen +30
GangstaTrigger police pursuit and escape before another attempt20 pursuit triggersPhysical Protection +2

For Hunting Instinct, use the hand interaction on the mole; draining alkaline liquid with Spraytron is a different action. For Oxyworm Collector, plan repeated gathering trips rather than holding 300 worms in your inventory at once. Check the in-game achievement state after a batch of valid actions before committing to another long run.

These triggers were cross-checked on October 19 against Neoseeker's achievement routes, the dated player guide, and ShowGamer's achievement list. The table separates actions, counts, and bonuses so a suggestive Steam description does not become the instruction.

Prevent missed or failed unlocks

Let dialogue finish, interact with the final quest device, and check whether the game awarded both the achievement and any associated trait. Save before a one-off environmental interaction when practical. If Steam is offline or the overlay is delayed, preserve the save state before repeating a long sequence.

The official Steam achievement page still listed 39 entries on October 19, 2026. The earlier hands-on baseline remains 0.8.2; this update adds attributed trigger research and checks the official 0.8.11 changes. It does not claim a new replay of all unlocks.

Plan an efficient achievement cleanup

Finish the current main chapter and nearby side quests before attempting a complete cleanup. Group remaining entries by location, required tool, and risk so one trip can test several nearby interactions without carrying story materials. Keep a separate note of confirmed completions because Steam rarity order is not a useful route plan.

Use the Chapter 1 walkthrough for story progress, then revisit the bus, train visitor, and mole deposits with the matching action from the table above.
